It's Bastille Day today. Happy Independence France! I hope you're using it wisely.

In other news I'm really enjoying my university papers. I had my first tutorial for the Tolkien paper I'm taking and it was great. The Classics paper I'm taking is about Greek art and I love it. We get to handle peices of pottery that are more than 2000 years old! The Middle English paper I'm doing is fun as well. We're looking at Sir Gawain and the Green knight at the moment which is a favourite of my fathers. He flicked through the edition we've been perscribed, which has been put together by one of the English staff member and has handy interlinear glossing, and was so impressed he's got himself a copy.

I watched the first three episodes of Pride and Prejudice on Tuesday. I want my own copy of it on dvd. I did notice that they said 'indeed' an awful lot. I don't remember that in the book so much.

Those sound like really good classes... they make me want to go back and finish school.

Maybe you should wait until the last Potter book comes out. Then again in the time it takes them to publish the last one you could probably have finished school already. ;)

Yeah the Norse myths has been the coolest so far. We'll be moving on to Beowulf next week.
